Tony retired as a Police Officer in June 1998 after 25 years service with the Kent Police. He has 21 years of detective experience; he also has expertise in drug abuse detection, having spent time in charge of the East Kent Drugs Squad and various crime units and in teaching young constables in drug related crimes at Police Training School. He is Joint Investigation trained (Police / Social Services) and was in charge of a Child Protection Unit (SIU) in the last 18 months of his career.
He has four of his own children, the eldest being Ruth, who is currently a Probation officer. His son has completed university with a first in ceramics. His second youngest daughter is a housewife and his youngest daughter lives at home and attends a local school.

Andrea joined The Boulters in 2002, in this time she has worked in the Childrens Homes, Independent Units, The Learning and Skills Centre and Head Office. Andrea was made Director of Human Resources in November 2008.
Prior to this Andrea practised matrimonial law for 7 years having attained her Fellowship of the Legal Executive Institute. Andrea then moved for the next 12 years into the social care arena and worked in a number of senior roles with adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours, adults with severe physical disabilities, children with special needs, emotional and behavioural problems and then supporting individuals moving from residential placements into the community.
Throughout this time Andrea maintained her strong links and fundraising initiatives for local charities and remained committed to her volunteer work, she was a member of her local Parish Council and Chair of the Local Youth Club.
Andrea is married with 3 children, her two sons are now grown up, one is studying for his History Degree, the other in service to the R.A.F and her daughter is in preparation for her G.C.
